Okay, so I got a little caught up in the shower planning this week and didn't really have time to post. It was a non-eventful pregnancy week, so I am just going to post my pic!

Week 30
This week has been pretty uneventful. I feel a lot better this week
than last week. We are slowly but surely getting things done around the
house and getting ready for the upcoming baby shower. The weather is
getting cooler and it is definitely starting to feel like fall! I
learned a neat fact this week. The baby is starting to hiccup, pedal
his/her hands and feet along the uterus, and even sucking his/her
thumb! From what I hear, some babies are born with a callus on their
thumb from sucking on it so vigorously in the womb!
Week
updates...
- Maternity Clothes: I've
come to realize that you can actually get away with wearing normal
clothes in just a bigger size for a lot cheaper! Just bought some fall
long sleeve tees!
- Stretch Marks: No, but definitely feeling the stretch!
- Sleep: I am ready for the sleepless nights!
- Miss Anything?: Fitting in between small places.
- Movement: The baby is hiccuping and it feels like a series of small twitches.
- Food Cravings: I have to admit, I thought I would have more food cravings than I do! None that I didn't have prior to being pregnant.
- Anything making you queasy or sick? No
Showing yet?- Gender: I went to a baby shower this week and everyone there thought I was carrying like I was having a girl...go figure!
- Mood: Anxious to get things done before the arrival!
- Labor Signs: No-but a lot of stabbing pains when I stand up too quickly!
- Symptoms: Swollen ankles at times, out of breath
- Looking Forward To: My baby shower!!!

Week 29
Zac Brown Band
What a great week! Jeff and I ventured out to our first (and last) concert preggo style! One of our favorite bands is the Zac Brown Band. We love their music and what they stand for. If you haven't listened to them, you should really check them out! Not only were we able to go to their concert, but also go to an Eat and Greet. What an amazing experience! We were able to meet the entire band and eat with them. They served the meal...all local, sustainable food cooked by their own personal chef. The food was absolutely amazing. As they were serving and the guests were eating, we were able to talk to the band if they were available. Me being completely intimidated did not want to go up to Zac, but Jeff insisted on it! Boy am I glad he did. Zac is a great guy. We learned he has four kids of his own. I asked for baby advice and he said to use the swaddlers with the velcro and use glass bottles to prevent seepage-heehee. Jeff asked for the meaning behind his song "Highway 20 Ride" and he explained that it was a song about the time he spent with his father. Jeff definitely could connect with that. The concert was amazing even though I could hardly stand by the end! Definitely a memory that will go down in the books!| Created and designed by yours truly...named after their latest album. |
What did the doctor say?
We had a doctors appointment this week! Very exciting...he said that the ultrasound was showing I was measuring two weeks ahead-panic!!! He said plan on having a big baby and be prepared any time after November 14th. Everything looks great and he said that all my test results are perfect...what a relief! I am so blessed to have been having such a healthy and happy pregnancy with great test results along the way...it makes all the struggles and hardships of getting to this point well worth it. Our story on our fertility journey coming next soon! I'm finally ready to share...| I can't believe the baby weighs 3 lbs! |

- Movement: I think I am determining what part of the baby is kicking and where...really neat!
- Food Cravings: No, but finding that I have to eat smaller meals or else I am completely uncomfortable.

Week 28
Are you ready for some football?! Well...I can tell you one person that is!
This week is opening week of the football season.
You can see that I am not wearing Bills gear. Yes, I know...what's my deal? When I met Jeff nine years ago, I was introduced to a whole new level of football pandemonium. If you know him, you know what I'm talking about! He loves, loves, LOVES the 49ers. At first I didn't quite get it, and I found it to be a little aggravating that he didn't like the Buffalo Bills. But as our relationship grew and time went on, he couldn't have explained it in a better way. Why doesn't he like the Bills? Simply put in his words...because it would be like loving you and liking another girl. That's all I needed to hear...I get it. I don't care if he ever likes the Bills-haha! He is loyal and dedicated in everything he does, and has loved the 49ers since childhood because of one amazing man...Joe Montana. He has stuck by them ever since! Go 49ers!!!

Week 27
Belly Stains
I have the case of the belly stains!! I think I have had to change my shirt twice a day this week! All because I seem to miraculously get some sort of random stain smack dab on the middle of my bump! Chocolate, dirt, fruit juice, tea, Eli drool...I can't take it! Something tells me it isn't going to get much better from here on out with this...
Bitter Sweet
This week was a bitter sweet week. As summer winds down I usually am getting ready for the new school year. A whole new set of stressors begin...not this year! Being laid off is making me feel unsettled. I don't know where I fit in. But, in the big picture of life, my family is number one and everything happens for a reason. If there were a time to get laid off from teaching, now is the time. When I think of the positive, I can spend the time getting ready for LB (Jeff's new name for the baby-Little Boo). I can relax and put my feet up if I am not feeling well, and I can really focus on the most important things in my life-what can be better than that?! Life is full of crazy twists and turns, and it is amazing when things start to fall into place. Though I am going to dearly miss my colleagues and past students, right here and now is where I am supposed to be! I wish all my amazing teacher friends good luck on this new school year!
| Through my research, I have read varying weeks that the third trimester starts. Is it 26, 27 or 28 weeks? Well...let's go with a happy medium. |

- Looking Forward to: Seeing Jeff hold the baby for the first time...he is going to be such a great dad!
