Belly Stains
I have the case of the belly stains!! I think I have had to change my shirt twice a day this week! All because I seem to miraculously get some sort of random stain smack dab on the middle of my bump! Chocolate, dirt, fruit juice, tea, Eli drool...I can't take it! Something tells me it isn't going to get much better from here on out with this...
Bitter Sweet
This week was a bitter sweet week. As summer winds down I usually am getting ready for the new school year. A whole new set of stressors begin...not this year! Being laid off is making me feel unsettled. I don't know where I fit in. But, in the big picture of life, my family is number one and everything happens for a reason. If there were a time to get laid off from teaching, now is the time. When I think of the positive, I can spend the time getting ready for LB (Jeff's new name for the baby-Little Boo). I can relax and put my feet up if I am not feeling well, and I can really focus on the most important things in my life-what can be better than that?! Life is full of crazy twists and turns, and it is amazing when things start to fall into place. Though I am going to dearly miss my colleagues and past students, right here and now is where I am supposed to be! I wish all my amazing teacher friends good luck on this new school year!
| Through my research, I have read varying weeks that the third trimester starts. Is it 26, 27 or 28 weeks? Well...let's go with a happy medium. |
Week
updates
- Maternity Clothes: I had to go out and buy some new pajamas this week...definitely starting to grow at a quicker rate.
- Stretch Marks: No…and I hope it stays this way!
- Sleep: I have been getting up at 4 a.m. every morning! I can't fall back asleep and it is so frustrating.
- Miss Anything?: Going up the stairs without being out of breath.
- Movement: Every kick brings a smile to my face!
- Food Cravings/Likings: White Cow Dairy Yogurt...this is a local yogurt that is the best stuff I have ever had! It is so worth the money. Jeff and I finally made it to Bidwell Market to get a bunch!
- Anything making you queasy or sick? No
Showing yet?- Gender: I have to say that I have gone from thinking it is a girl to thinking it is a boy! I am getting sooooo anxious at this point to find out!
- Mood: Happy...until I look down and see a big fat stain on my shirt.
- Labor Signs: No…but trying to prepare in every way possible for this delivery. I actually took a peek at a birthing plan this week-Whoa! I don't think I was ready to see all that goes into this labor...yikes!
- Symptoms: I am feeling the belly grow more than ever...
- Looking Forward to: Seeing Jeff hold the baby for the first time...he is going to be such a great dad!
